Indication:
Livia Liver Tonic is best suited for organic and functional complaints of liver and gall bladder, sluggish liver, loss of appetite, biliousness, jaundice, enlargement of liver, gall stone colic and biliary colic. It also reduces the toxic and after effects of alcohol.

Mode of Action:
Carica Papaya: Useful for liver ailments. Spasmodic pain in abdomen with loose, watery, yellowish stool with general weakness, amel.
Carduus Marianus: Liver - Engorged, especially left lobe, swelled laterally in the transverse direction painful to pressure. Jaundice and dull frontal headache, Stools are bilious and urine golden yellow.
Chionanthus Virginica: Hepatic derangements, jaundice, enlarged liver with gall stones.
Chelidonium Majus: Jaundice. Bilious complaints during gestation.
Cinchona Officinalis: Liver enlarged and swollen. Pain in right hypochondrium. Jaundice.
Ferrum Phosphoricum: Useful in liver ailments associated with anaemia.
Hydrastis Canadensis: Its action on liver is marked. Liver, torpid and tender. Jaundice.
Andrographis Paniculata: It helps to support and strengthen the liver.
Lycopodium Clavatum: Hepatitis, atrophic form of nutmeg liver - dropsy.
Mercurius Solubilis: Liver enlarged, sore to touch, indurated. Jaundice. Bile secreted deficiently.
Natrum Phosphoricum: Yellow creamy coat on base of tongue.
Natrum Sulphuricum: Chronic enlargement of the liver. Soreness and tenderness in the liver region.
Taraxacum: Pain and soreness in the region of liver and bilious Diarrhoea.
