Ingredients of Baidyanath Shankha Bati
The major key ingredients of this drug are panch lavan, nimbu ras, hing, and sontha.
Panch lavan is used for improving digestion and gives relief in stomach pain.
Nimbu ras is used in the secretion of digestive enzymes for improving digestion.
The botanical name of Hing (Asafoetida) is Ferula foetida and it is used as a carminative.
The botanical name of Sontha is Zingiber officinale and it is used as carminative, digestive, stimulant, and expectorant.
