C. V. P. Capsule is a combination of Vitamin C, Calcium lactate, Ferrous gluconate, Menadione, and Citrus bioflavonoids. Vitamin C is mainly necessary for cell-mediated immune responses including leucocyte and macrophage functions, neutrophil motility, and phagocytosis, but also for antimicrobial activity, interferon synthesis, and antihistamine properties.
