Hifen Lxx Tablet used to treat a wide range of bacterial illnesses. It fights infection to prevent bacteria from growing and spreading further. It also protects against diarrhoea, which can be an adverse effect of this medication. Hifen Lxx Tablet can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at the same time every day to be effective. Consume no more than the suggested dose, as this could be damaging to your health. If you forget to take a dose, do so as soon as you remember. Even if you feel better, you must complete the therapy regimen. The potency of the medicine may be impaired if the treatment is abruptly stopped.

Hifen Lxx Tablet stops the growth of infectious bacteria and helps treat infections caused by bacteria. Hifen Lxx Tablet also contains beneficial bacteria that protect the inner layers of your stomach and intestines. This medicine can relieve frequent loose motions, that may occur as a side effect of this medicine, and also prevents them from coming back. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant. Drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.
 
 
Hifen Lxx Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cefixime, Dicloxacillin and Lactobacillus. Cefixime and Dicloxacillin are antibiotics which work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

    With Alcohol Interaction Hifen Tablet might be unsafe if consumed with alcohol. Kindly consult your doctor. For Pregnant Women Hifen Tablet is probably safe if taken during pregnancy. There is little study on humans but animal studies have shown no side effects on the baby. Still it is advised to consult your doctor before taking the medicine. For Lactating Mother Hifen Tablet is probably safe if taken during lactation. Studies suggest that the medicine do not mix with mother's milk in significant amount and cause no harm to the baby. Still it is advised to consult your doctor before taking the medicine. While Driving Hifen Tablet usually does not affect your ability to drive. Still it is advised to consult your doctor if driving after taking the medicine. For Patients with Kidney Problem Hifen Tablet must be used with caution with patients having Kidney disease. Such patients must consult their doctor before using the medicine or get their dosage adjusted by the physician accordingly. For Patients with Liver Disease Hifen Tablet must be used with caution with patients having liver disease. Such patients must consult their doctor before using the medicine or get their dosage adjusted by the physician accordingly.

Dosage

    Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hifen Lxx Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
