Maxvoid Plus 8 CP Tablet is a combination of two medicines that work in different ways to treat men with an enlarged prostate gland. It helps to relieve symptoms such as difficulty urinating or needing to go to the toilet more often. It is not used to prevent prostate cancer.
Silodosin is an alpha-1 blocker which helps to improve the flow of urination by relaxing the smooth muscles of bladder and prostrate. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that reduces the production of a stress hormone called dihydrotestosterone which is responsible for causing prostate enlargement by inhibiting the activity of an intracellular enzyme called 5-alpha reductase. Collectively they shrink the size of an enlarged prostate and improve the flow of urine as well as the symptoms of BPH in men.
Before taking This inform your doctor if you have low blood pressure, or liver, kidney, or heart disease as a precaution. Women who are pregnant or can become pregnant should not handle the leaked medicine as it may cause serious harm to the baby. Men being treated with MAXVOID PLUS 8 CP should not donate blood for at least 6 months after their last dose, in order to prevent the exposure of the medicine to pregnant women via blood transfusion.
Some common side effects of this medicine are retrograde ejaculation, dizziness, diarrhea, orthostatic hypotension, headache, nasopharyngitis, and nasal congestion. If any of the side effects persist or bother you, you must consult the doctor without delay.

HOW SILODOSIN WORKS -
Maxvoid Plus 8 CP Tablet is an alpha blocker. It works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily
HOW DUTASTERIDE WORKS -
Maxvoid Plus 8 CP Tablet is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. It blocks an enzyme which is necessary to change testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow. As a result, it helps to shrink the prostate and relieve the symptoms like difficulty in passing urine.
