Product Description

Laurocerasus is a chief remedy for spasmodic tickling cough with dyspnea. 

Cyanosis with dyspnea, worse sitting up. 

Constriction of chest with copious, jelly like or bloody expectoration with small and feeble pulse. 

It is also useful in cough with valvular diseases. 

During cyanosis skin is blue with cold, clammy feet and legs. 

Laurocerasus is useful in complaint of Clubbing of fingers, Veins of hands are distended.

Mind

Great anxiety, apprehension, and agitation, which do not allow a moment's rest, nor yet sleep in evening, but which disappear in open air.

Inability to collect one's ideas.

Weakness of memory.

Fear and anxiety about imaginary evils.

Mental dullness (insensibility) and loss of consciousness, with loss of speech and motion.

Head

There is feeling of intoxication and vertigo, with drowsiness.

Vertigo, on rising from a stooping posture, or on getting up from a seat, with what appears to be a veil before the sight, or with a sensation as if all objects were turning round.

Vertigo worse in the open air is relieved by it.

Laurocerasus relieves Stupefying headache, with a feeling of weight, and sensation, on stooping, as if the brain fell forward and struck against the cranium.

Eyes

Laurocerasus relieves Burning pain in eyes, Dryness of eyes.

Darkness before the eyes, obscuration of sight.

All objects appear larger than they really are.

Ears

It is useful in Hardness of hearing, Tingling in ears, Itching in ears.

Nose

Nose feels stopped up, no air passes through.

Laurocerasus is useful for Coryza with sore throat.

Face

It relieves Cramps in the jaws, Twitching in muscles of face.

Titillation in the face, as if files and spiders were crawling over the skin.

Laurocerasus is useful in Lock-jaw, Painful sensations in the under jaw and lower teeth.

Throat

Laurocerasus is useful in Sore throat with painful sensation, as if it were drawn downwards, during deglutition and at other times.

It relieves Cramps in pharynx and esophagus.

There is Contraction of esophagus when drinking.

The drink he takes rolls audibly through esophagus and intestines.

Laurocerasus relieves Dull sticking pain as from a lump in throat, which extends to left side of back.

Stomach

Violent risings, either empty, or having taste of food.

Laurocerasus relieves Violent pain in stomach, with loss of speech. Burning in stomach and abdomen, or coldness is relieved.

Contractive pain in region of stomach, and cutting pain in abdomen.

Abdomen

It relieves Sticking pains in liver with pressure, Cutting, cramps, and contractions in abdomen.

Sharp stitches in groins is relieved.

Stool and Anus

Laurocerasus is useful in Constipation, Hard and tenacious evacuations, with straining.

Ineffectual urging to stool, with emission of wind only.

It also checks Diarrhea, with tenesmus, incisive and burning pains in anus.

Diarrhea of green, slimy matter, with contraction in groins.

It relieves Itching or crawling in rectum as from worms.

Male Sexual Organs

Increased sexual desire.

Laurocerasus is indicated in Gangrene of genital parts.

It relieves Sticking pain above right pubis, extending along spermatic cord, while lying and on moving about, better when sitting up.

Voluptuous itching beneath prepuce with desire for coition is relieved.

Female Sexual Organs

Menses too early and too abundant, blood thin, with nightly tearing in vertex.

Menorrhagic, blood dark, in large clots, during climaxis.

It releives Severe pain in sacral region extending to pubis with dizziness and dimness of visions, cold extremities, cold tongue, great melancholy (dysmenorrhea).

Dysmenorrhea, colic first day, headache second day all over head, with or without sick feeling.

Needle-like stitches in and beneath left breast.

Respiratory Organs

Laurocerasus is useful in Hoarseness, roughness, and scraping in throat and pharynx.

There is Spasmodic constriction of the trachea.

It is useful in Little short cough, excited by a tickling and scraping in throat.

Abundant gelatinous expectoration, with small specks of blood.

Neck and Back

Laurocerasus relieves Painful stiffness in left side of neck and nape.

Pressure in nape especially in open air, compelling to bend head forward.

Laurocerasus is useful in Spinal irritation, pain down back every four hours, darting up to head and chest and causing a feeling of suffocation, with constant sick feeding and drowsiness, better from sleep.

Sensation of a heavy lump falling from just above umbilicus to small of back.

Upper Limbs

Acute drawings and shootings in shoulders and in arms is relieved by Laurocerasus.

In right shoulder, pains as from lameness and stitches.

Burning sensation in hands, with swelling of the veins is relieved by it.

Lower Limbs

Acute drawings and shootings in knees is relieved by Laurocerasus.

Laurocerasus is indicated for Pain, as if sprained in left hip-joint.

It is useful in Ulcerated pains in lower part of heels.

Generalities

Laurocerasus is indicated for Weak, anemic, emaciated girls.

Trembling, especially of hands and feet, during exercise in open air.

It relieves Drawing and tearing pains in limbs.

Sense of fatigue in whole body.

Skin turns blue, toe-and finger-nails become knobby.

Symptoms worse in evening, better at night, and in open air.

Dosage

Take 5 drops in half a cup of water three times a day.
